I am the wife of Danny and have been in this business from the very beginning. Originally, I worked as a nurse at a small doctor’s office in White County, Tennessee, but came on board in 2003 to become the full-time secretary and clerk of the company, while my husband oversaw the trucks. It was me who had the courage to delve into the freight world full-force in 2007, which was one of the best decisions P&R ever made. I am so thankful for the hard work Danny and I have put into this business and truly believe it shines through all the work we do.

I am the newest Price to enter the family business, but most likely not the last! In May of 2015 I graduated Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor’s degree in History and one in Agriculture. After a summer abroad, I came home to invest myself in P&R and am quite proud of what I have found. My childhood was surrounded by diesel smoke and much of it spent, like my brother, in the company of the dock workers at the post office. I have now become a second secretary and payroll accountant, keeping up with various paperwork details. Also, I drive out of the Cookeville post office on one of our contracts, delivering mail to the rural offices in our region. It has turned into a great job and one that I am quite thankful to have. I hope that P&R Trucking Inc. will bring you as much satisfaction as it has brought our family.

I am a lifetime truck driver and part-time mechanic that calls my hundred acre farm in rural Tennessee home. At the ripe young age of twenty-four I bought into this company, that has grown to become my own. It is my life’s work and has helped me raise my family and help others, which is my true goal with it all. Hopefully, you will see how much hard work has gone into P&R Trucking Inc. and will want that hard work to help you out, too.

This truly is a family affair. I grew up with this business, living and breathing it, knowing all the postal employees at the Cookeville, Tennessee post office and loving every ounce of attention they gave me. Like my dad Danny, I chose to enter the business world in my early twenties as well, although in a much different field. I bought a small “meat and three” restaurant in Sparta, Tennessee, and ran it until one year ago, when a good fellow I know decided to lease it from me so that I could enter the true family business –P&R Trucking Inc. It was a fantastic decision, and one that a newlywed needed. I have been slowly integrating my knowledge of the fast-changing world of trucking into our business, and hope that you, as our customer, will be able to see first-hand what is meant by a good, honest, business.
